Texas Sheriff Knows Exactly How to Deal with Terrorists Crossing the Border

As 9/11 nears, concerns are increasing that members of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group could be crossing our highly porous Southern border to stage an attack on America’s homeland. However, one sheriff in Texas is prepared for it if they do come, and he has an awesome way he’s going to deal with them.
Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter appeared on CNN to discuss the very real possibility that there’s already members of IS here in America and what he plans to do to them if they try anything in his town.




Painter begins by explaining to host Don Lemon how easy it is for people to cross the border without being caught, and there’s currently an estimated 10-15 million people who are already in the country illegally. In his explanation, he notes that hundreds of thousands of people have also overstayed their student or guest worker visas and are now roaming about the country, presumably without anybody knowing exactly where they are.
After pointing out that there’s evidence terrorists have already crossed the border, Painter dismisses Lemon’s question of whether he’s just trying to scare his constituents. He says people need to be aware of the threats posed by radical Islamists. Such people can even be homegrown, just like we’ve seen in Minnesota recently.
The sheriff explained to Lemon that his “little” department of roughly 100 deputies trains for many emergency situations and works alongside other departments and agencies, so they’re confident they could face a terrorist threat in their community.
When asked by the host if he had a message for any IS militants that may be lurking in his community, the sheriff had a blunt message that’s sure to resonate with America:

“Well, if they rear their ugly heads, we’ll send ‘em to hell.”

Indeed, since that’s where they belong. The people of Midland County should be proud to have such a sheriff, who’s willing to take the threat of radical Islam head-on and not dismiss it in the name of political correctness.

“We need more Sheriffs and Law Enforcement Officers like this around America.  The warning signs are all around us, that radical Islamic terrorists are already in the country, intent on causing death and destruction.  It is time those warnings are heeded, and people prepare themselves for what used to be considered highly unlikely, and now seems inevitable.”
