Obama Up, GOP Down Post Election

Obama’s overall approval rating now sits at 50 percent.
A look at the trending numbers puts that as a seven to 10 point increase over the October to November time frame, when he was averaging between 40 and 43 percent.
Meanwhile, the GOP peaked at 44 percent precisely at election time, when they were the most combative. They’ve since lost six points and now sit down at 38 percent.
Those numbers appear to indicate the public views the GOP more favorably when it’s fighting — or at least talking about fighting — for what it claims to believe in, instead of simply rolling over for Obama and his fellow Democrats.
